Day 4 progress: more spells...
I planned to add two-word spells today, but since I fell behind yesterday on the one-word spells, I had to implement the rest of those today instead. So now there are six spells, as described in this screenshot:
Right now the player can cast any of these six spells from the beginning of the game, but I’d like to restrict him to one or two of them starting out, and he’ll have to collect “elemental essences” from defeated monsters to learn more. Speaking of monsters, I should probably add something besides these slimes!
So, tomorrow I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do - add in the two-word spells (I have some neat ideas for how elements can become modifiers for spells), or move ahead with the elemental essences… doubt I’ll have time for both, unfortunately!
